Project Procedure This project combines a series of lessons to create an interactive information kiosk. You may like to divide your class into groups to complete this project, or assign specific tasks to particular students. Alternatively, you may like each student to complete the project in it’s entirety as an individual assignment. Lessons may be taught and utilised in no particular order, but rather in direct relation to your class learning program. The subject matter, space, offers an abundant of opportunities for teaching and utilising the skill of labelling. In this activity, students take labelling to a new level by creating hotspot hyperlinks from an image to detailed information slides in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Creating a Narrated Film Strip The Internet provides a wondrous source of space images. In this lesson, students collect and save a series of images from the internet then combine them with narration and sound files using Microsoft Photo Story. This program slowly zooms in and out of the images creating a professional, impressive flim strip rich in multimedia.
Combining Video Files with PowerPoint Slides In this activity, students create an information presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint. These slides are then imported into Microsoft Producer and combined with video file to create a multimedia extravaganza.

A contents page is created and hyperlinked to each individual learning activity which then allows the user to navigate through the project in a nonlinear manner.
